Shikino-Sato Park, which has long been a popular place for the citizens to relax, opened as a “roadside station” in July 2020.
Located in a rural area with a tranquil satoyama landscape, the park offers an extraordinary experience in a relaxed atmosphere. In the early spring season, the park is crowded with visitors as they can see seasonal flowers blooming, including a rose garden with 700 roses, cherry blossoms, wisteria and other flowers.
At the entrance of the park, there are restaurants and other food-related facilities where visitors can not only enjoy regional flavors but also taste fresh vegetables from the hands-on farm on a BBQ grill.
・The park is themed around nature and agriculture, and hosts a variety of events throughout the year, such as bamboo shoot digging and blueberry picking.
